Now we’re looking for an Events Manager, as a key part of our growth strategy, but also to develop and reward our team!

Job Description

Face-to-face interactions are simply the strongest, which is why events are an essential part of our strategy. In this role you’ll report directly to the Head of Operations. Your work will directly contribute to the team culture, employee development, brand visibility and business growth. As Events Manager at Healthy Workers you’ll bring colleagues, talent, relations, clients and leads together in many different event settings. Overdelivering is a core value for Healthy Workers, and you’ll be bringing that to our events.

In a successful year, we’d like the following types of events to be in the calendar:

External:

• Exclusive dinners at top-tier restaurants and settings for (potential) clients

• Memorable satellite events at industry conferences like Provada

• Talks and masterclasses to engage and attract new talent

Internal:

• Team- and culture-building and fun days for you and your colleagues

• Training and development sessions

• Monthly Vrijmibo with a fun twist: boats, parties, cocktails - be creative

Your responsibilities include:

• End-to-end project management and ownership of events for 10 to 300 attendees, ranging from high-stakes CEOs to eager talent;

• Negotiating and comparing all sorts of suppliers and locations;

• At some events you’ll jump in as a hands-on manager, at others you’ll be managing and overseeing a team;

• Brainstorming and thinking of ways to exceed expectations. Guests should always walk away thinking “wow!”;

• Working closely together with business and marketing teams to ensure high attendance;

• We have an awesome office that we’re proud of. The entire operations team contributes and helps out with some office management tasks.

Profile

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role;

• Proven track record of organizing events of a similar scale;

• Structured thinker and worker with an eye for detail;

• Hands-on mindset autonomous problem solver;

• Great communication skills;

• Fluency in Dutch and English.
