Job Description
As a Business Development Representative, you’ll be at the heart of our commercial growth. You’ll engage with real estate professionals, identify new opportunities, and open the door for our Account Executives to close deals.
This role is designed to help you learn, grow, and build your foundation in SaaS sales. You’ll be coached on everything from prospecting and discovery to storytelling and pipeline management. Together, we’ll prepare you to step into an Account Executive role within 18–24 months.
Your responsibilities include:
Generate and qualify new business opportunities through proactive outreach and inbound follow-up;
Collaborate with Account Executives and Marketing to execute smart go-to-market campaigns;
Research markets and target accounts, identifying key decision-makers within our ICP;
Engage prospects via phone, Linkedin and email to create meaningful conversations;
Schedule and prepare discovery meetings, ensuring a smooth handover to AEs;
Leverage CRM data to track progress and identify areas to improve performance;
Share market insights and feedback with the team to refine messaging and strategy;
Participate in internal and external events, workshops, and demo sessions to build market presence.
Profile
We’re looking for energy, curiosity, and drive. Not just experience. Besides that:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree;
0–2 years of sales or commercial experience (internships count!);
Ambitious, proactive, and eager to learn. You love hitting goals and growing fast;
Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal;
Structured, coachable, and curious about SaaS, sustainability, and real estate;
Fluent in Dutch and English;
A growth mindset: ready to learn from experienced colleagues and take ownership of your success.
